Pros

  • Other good options are Kingrinder K6, 1zPresso X-Ultra or K-Ultra. These have external adjustment for grind size, which is very convenient, but not crucial.
  • Currently, I use the 1Zpresso K-Ultra for single-cup brewing, which has lately been exclusively for V60 and Hario Switch.
  • I have a 1zpresso K-Ultra and i am enjoying it a lot. Very well built, and playing with many different grind sizes is fun.
  • For more money, there's also 1zPresso K-Ultra or Comandante.
  • If you’re willing to invest in a quality hand grinder to handle all those brewing methods, just get a 1Zpresso K-Ultra and call it done.

Cons

  • I'm looking at 1ZPresso grinders for aeropress and traveling. Does anyone have the OD of the catch cups on the X-Ultra and the K-Ultra?
  • Parent context: I have the k-ultra and really like the cup quality for all methods, but it’s a real pain in the a to grind light roasts for espresso and moka. Reply: I have the k-ultra and really like the cup quality for all methods, bu...
  • MHW 3Bomber R3 Blade, Kingrinder K6, 1zPresso X-Ultra, 1zPresso K-Ultra, 1zPresso ZP6
  • I'm considering a manual grinder such as the 1Zpresso JX Pro or K-Ultra (is it worth to go for K series or JX will be enough?)
  • I have a 1Zpresso K-Ultra that I've been using for several months now. I have a Driftaway coffee subscription and I've been having trouble with this month's light roast. No matter how course I grind, the filter chokes and the brew ends u...

The k ultra seems ideal, slightly out of budget but maybe worth the overspend.

If you consider manual grinders (hand grinders), Kingrinder K6 or 1zPresso K-Ultra. They are excellent, and portable.
