The application does not have a real cloud backup. Instead, it creates backups locally on the phone. Yes, you can export a backup file, but the problem is that you cannot import it back into the application. So even if I have backups, I am still unable to restore my data.
He managed, for almost one full week, to lock lifetime premium users out of the app. During that time, we were unable to log in, unable to export our data, and effectively held hostage with financial information we had been saving for years.
Parent context: This works for me. I can see my lifetime membership but unfortunately all my backup data before I got logged out is gone. Have msg-ed the developer for help. Reply: Yeah, we're in the same boat then. Seeing there was an app update earlier today I'm curious to see if he'll be able to fix this by the end of the week.

I have the same problem since today. I have been using this app for five years and now I've lost all my data.
Has anyone else had serious problems with the 1Money app today? Suddenly the app broke on both my Android devices, phone and tablet, at the same time. It looks like it lost my data and is now almost unusable. I cannot see my current month anymore. I cannot add new expenses or income. I cannot export any data. Sync shows as disabled, and there is a premium banner asking me to subscribe monthly or yearly, even though I have a lifetime purchase.
I got previous data, almost 15000 transaction entry from previous 1money app , I dont want to key in 1 by 1 again to other new app
I got the lifetime subscription when it was offered for less than $2 (converted from my local currency). ... I’ve had no issues using it since, first on Android and later on iOS. ... Regardless of the situation, this app remains one of the most valuable virtual purchases I’ve ever made 🥲
