We have the Cruz and even that is a little big sitting in the foyer outside of our front door.
I ended up using an Uppababy Cruz for all three of my kids, it reclined fully so we just bought a newborn head insert and didn't need the bassinet and it was just fine when they were toddlers
We opted to just get a single stroller with our first kid (we got the Uppababy Cruz) and decided that if we ended up having subsequent kids closer in age and still needed a double, we'd evaluate when the time came. In the end I'm glad we did because we're also city dwellers, and having a slightly more lightweight and less bulky stroller was nicer to deal with on a regular basis especially because we used our stroller so much.
My friends got the Uppababy Cruz and they're happy with how portable it is. I think it's still a bit heavy (I wouldn't lug it around on an international trip), but it's definitely more portable than the Vista.
We bought an Uppababy Cruz and love it.

I already have a spectra s1 that plugs into the wall, but I think this will be too bulky to take to and from work
I had the spectra s1 and Willow go. Liked both for different reasons. Output was better with the spectra but I hated pumping and felt like a cow.
I was given a blue spectra s1 which is very reliable but not wearable.
This and make sure you get the one with the battery if you have to travel at all. (Also is nice not having to be chained to a wall)
