I would recommend a set of thermals/long underwear in silk or like Uniqlo 's heattech.

Hands and feet were freezing but the black magic known as Uniqlo heattech kept my body warm.

there's also brands like equatorsun that do actual UPF rated clothing which takes a lot of the guesswork out of sun protection, way easier than trying to reapply sunscreen constantly when your working

equatorsun and uv skinz both make good upf sun hats if your outdoors a lot, takes the pressure off trying to reapply face makeup constantly

for full body coverage equatorsun.com actually makes some spf 50+ sun shirts and leggings that take a lot of the guesswork out of it, especially if he's gonna be outside for hours.
