I’d trust a Prius to go that long too
Having driven a few different Priuses, I'd say the visibility is OK by modern standards. One issue is that because they are set up for economy, they usually run tires that have low rolling resistance, but not the greatest traction. Which means it can skid a little earlier than many other cars might. Braking distances seemed a little bit longer than other cars, but not dangerously so.
For example the Prius and RAV4 PHEVs have excellent battery thermal management, have buffers at both ends so you are effectively charging them in the 20-80% range, and the fact that they are only being charged with L1 or L2 charging means they never undergo the stress that DCFC causes.
I’ve seen plenty prius’s go past 300k on the original battery.
I eventually traded it in for a Prius but it was a good little car.
