I've settled on trying some tea from The Steeping room (one of the vendors listed on here), but I'm a little overwhelmed with the selection 😅
If you're in the us, I can not recommend the steeping room enough. It is a fantastic site with curated sample sets at reasonable prices.
If US based, my two favorite vendors are The Steeping Room and Rivers & Lakes Tea. The Steeping Room out of Austin, TX is an excellent vendor with tons of great tea, many in a very affordable price range.
If you are looking for someone to coach you through your tea journey and help you narrow down what you like, Emily from The Steeping Room out of Texas has a great selection of a wide variety of teas and is very accessible through email.
you can find good examples at Upton Tea and maybe also The Steeping Room

Beautiful and (for me very unique) taste
It was a very good tea, mellow and comforting.
My wife and I drink a LOT of Wuyi teas, and Wuyi blacks like jin Jun mei and zheng shan xiao zhong are in our standard rotation each week.
The only ones I've really liked were Jin Jun Mei's and Feng Qing "Golden Pekoe #100" which is really good imo.
Jin Jun Mei (smells good! tastes good! just not what I, personally, like to nurse for hours on end)
