Sofwave vs REVO Face Genie

I had just done my first Sofwave independently earlier this week, and the doctor recommended that I get moisturizer and sunscreen at local spots like Olive Young.

If laxity is already in the mix, the sensible order is tightening first — Ultherapy, Sofwave, XERF, whatever suits the depth — and masseter Botox as one part of the plan rather than the whole plan.

yes sofwave will help with light sagging. I've had it done and saw tightening in my lower face and neck area (those were my main problem areas).

Yeah I did softwave because I felt like I was getting mild jowls and it honestly made a difference. I just did my lower face. I’m in my early 30s too.

I’ve been trying a handheld device instead (the REVO Face Genie) since it lets you control the session and target areas instead of blasting your whole face at once. It has different wavelengths too, so I just stick to red when my skin’s acting up. Personally haven’t noticed any dark spots if anything, it helped calm redness.

I use the REVO face genie. I love it because it has red, blue, and green light so I didn't need to buy multiple wands. My friend has one that just does red light, and that's fine for her because she's only targeting fine lines, but us acne and hyperpigmentation girls need something more! I will say it also has heat and vibration, and kind of contours your face like a gua sha, so it's really an all in one tool. I used to use the Solawave, and it was fine, but didn't do nearly as much as the REVO.

I found the red light mode to be soothing and it felt helpful for general redness and skin calmness when used regularly — obviously not as powerful as in‑clinic lasers for capillaries, but a more affordable daily option if you’re mainly after diffuse redness.

My mom didn’t love wearing a mask either, so she ended up liking a small LED wand (the REVO Face Genie) because it felt more straightforward.

+1 on the Face Genie for redness. I wasn't sure it'd do much but after a few weeks my skin just looks less flushed overall. Nothing dramatic, but consistent. The red light mode is definitely the MVP.
