I’ve heard the Sire X6 trem to be stable from two reviews by now.

I play my x6 more than my axis and Lespaul supreme…. It holds tune really well though. Overall quality is incredible. Fretwork is excellent. No issues with the nut. Stock pickups are surprisingly pretty good. Only QC issue I found was the side dots are a bit sloppy in terms of edge finish

X6 is a pretty unique guitar, since: - multiscale - tremolo - under $1k … simply doesn’t give you any other contenders.

Parent context: Not for small hands i guess. Ibanez Q 52 or Ichi 10 for smaller hands Reply: Why wouldn’t it be for small hands? The neck on this I think is thinner than the Q series. I had that as well but it’s been a minute. I’m pretty sure this is smaller.

Just got this sire x6 yesterday. 5.6 lbs on this one. Swapped to my normal 9-46 strings, lubricated the contact points and its rock solid even with vai and satch tunes. Nice low action at 1-1.25mm without buzzing, perfect fret ends, stock pickups surprisingly good, side dots could be finished a bit better but no other flaws. Blown away. I’ve had several vaders, steinberger, and strandberg and I enjoy this one the most.

I bought the 7-string HILS you were eyeing up. The HZ7. I was really impressed with the quality and the specs. The roasted maple necks feel really good, stainless steel frets and bone nut. I bought mine from Andertons in the UK. It came set up really nice out of the box.

Bought myself a HILS HZ7 - a seven string model. It’s a great guitar, and for the price, you’d be hard pushed to find anything near the quality.

I have three Hils guitar. HN3, HN4 and HZ7. All three are excellent guitars that benefit from a fret level and new pickups.

I sent my HZ7 to my luthier: - Fretwork tweaks - Custom Tusq nut - Bare Knuckle Blackhawks. Absolutely love it now.

Overall very impressed and it can hold its own among my other more expensive guitars (USA King V, PRS CE, Ibanez Prestige). It is obviously not on the same level but it is punching way above its price point.
