You can try Airalo or Saily. Both are easy to install before arriving in Malaysia.

I always use [Saily] for peace of mind because it’s from Nord VPN. It’s activates automatically and all round easy to use. No problems so far.

Can recommend Saily. Used it both times I was in Thailand and have no complains. Price is good, works in small islands as well.

Mobimatter or Holafly! •Mobimatter if you don't want too many GBs of internet, and in general is cheaper

Check mobimatter. I've had no issues with coverage, and not sure if they do any rate limiting but they have a few different providers available through that site.

look at options through mobimatter. Lots of cheap options to compare, they all work as good as any others. Often more affordable than Airalo or other big names.

Mobimatter , there are several packages that you can choose from and it works everywhere even in China when nothing works for me.
