Personally, I would consider getting a decent digital piano, instead of a cheap acoustic -- something like the Yamaha P-225 or Roland FP-30X aren't going to break the bank (comparatively speaking -- they'll be around $700-800 USD, so they aren't cheap), won't require maintenance, and should last you for many years.
I played the Nuvola EX at Costco with headphones. I know the action is the same as FP-30x, but they felt different to me — presumably because of the sound engine differences — I much preferred the FP-30x.
