I doubt you'd regret the QM6K. I'm really happy with my QM7 but the Q6 was much further behind than the QM6K is to the QM7K.
6K Pro has the same panel as the QM7K (though not as many local dimming zones so it won’t match the QM7K in HDR content and brightness/contrast) so it’s supposed to be brighter and better contrast than the regular 6K.
i just got the costco 75. the differences are the screen coating and all the hdmi ports are 2.1. the regular qm6k has 2 2.0 ports from what I've read.
The Costco version has the Crystglow HVA panel that is used in the 7K and 8K series. And Costco includes a 5-year warranty.

I’m in the same boat as OP, and with QM8L’s feature set, I’m going QM8L.
So QM8L is SQD, and therefore has better color saturation, a better processor for upscaling, will get DV2, and has 4 hdmi 2.1 ports.
I have a QM8L 98' in a bright room and the picture is incredible!!
