Jones Mountain Twin: A good jack of all trades board that works well if it's the only board you are going to ride. However, it's a bit lack luster in the emotions department. Don't expect great pop, great carving, great float, etc... It's just a simply 75% board that does everything well enough that it could be your only board if that was your only option. I've personally ridden 2 of these through the years and I honestly kept the second one less than 3 months once I was reminded how uninspiring it was to ride.
Mountain twin regular will be great to practice your carves.
I have the non-pro. I pretty exclusively ride trees and bumps and it is great.
I've ridden both, I started with the non-pro which I loved but found it a bit soft for my tastes.
If you gotta ask, the regular JMT is plenty of board for you

Skill wise yeah - 51 w/ the standard will be a bit quicker edge to edge unless pushing big cliffs or big park no need for the extra few cms
Parent context: Looking at the Yes standard and Lib tech cold brew atm but open to suggestions Reply: Standard is a great call.
All twin-ish, can go relatively fast, and have really good pow capabilities.
K2 Passport, ride moderator/shadowban, jones frontier, yes standard, rome ravine, Salomon assassin, wired recon
Ride shadowban, yes standard, yes greats, ride warpig, other volume shifted boards for advantage in trees. All good picks.
