Pros
- Mountain twin regular will be great to practice your carves.
- I have the non-pro. I pretty exclusively ride trees and bumps and it is great.
- I've ridden both, I started with the non-pro which I loved but found it a bit soft for my tastes.
- If you gotta ask, the regular JMT is plenty of board for you
- The reason why i didn't go pro is that the regular one is pretty stable even for my heavy build and sometimes i like to goof around the mountain so i don't need to be precise and on my A game
Cons
- Jones Mountain Twin: A good jack of all trades board that works well if it's the only board you are going to ride. However, it's a bit lack luster in the emotions department. Don't expect great pop, great carving, great float, etc... It'...
- upgrading from my 6 year old jones mountain twin.
- I haven't tried the other two, but I would cross the Jones off your list, it is many things but IMO it is not a carver/ charger.

Jones Mountain Twin: A good jack of all trades board that works well if it's the only board you are going to ride. However, it's a bit lack luster in the emotions department. Don't expect great pop, great carving, great float, etc... It's just a simply 75% board that does everything well enough that it could be your only board if that was your only option. I've personally ridden 2 of these through the years and I honestly kept the second one less than 3 months once I was reminded how uninspiring it was to ride.

I exclusively ride off piste and ride switch a lot, Jones Mountain Twin is the perfect board for that, I own one 159w and one 162w
After researching for a while I think I’m leaning towards the Jones Mountain Twin.
Jones Mountain Twin. Good all around board. Plenty out there but that’s my go-to.
I’d definitely recommend the jones mountain twin. It’s does everything you described really well. Carving groomers, switch, butters, side hits, etc. It was the board that really helped me improve my switch riding a lot. It can also hold its own bombing.
