Our dog liked our camping mat so much, she pretty much adopted it as her permanent bed for a few months (probably 4 months of regularl dog use and occasional human use) until we finally decided to do away with it for real furniture in that room. The Megamat is huge but it is also the most comfortable. Whatever you will win in packing volume and weight by exchanging it for something else, you will loose in comfort.
