exped megamat duo

Our dog liked our camping mat so much, she pretty much adopted it as her permanent bed for a few months (probably 4 months of regularl dog use and occasional human use) until we finally decided to do away with it for real furniture in that room. The mat never needed to be reinflated even once during that time.

The Megamat is huge but it is also the most comfortable. Whatever you will win in packing volume and weight by exchanging it for something else, you will loose in comfort.

Exped Megamat Duo (recent upgrade that’s made a world of a difference)

I have decided to get the exped megamat duo in LW+ size for car camping.

My wife and I use an exped megamat duo and it’s juuust big enough for two smallish women. If one of us was a big dude I think I would want separate mats.

We got the duo but not the max. We like to be cozy so it’s perfect and probably more comfortable than our. Normal home mattress.

We bought 2 x Duo LW+ for camping with 2 kids. Absolutely the best investment we've done in the sleeping system (tried cots, various pads, etc). Definitely not anywhere close to a budget option, but if you have the funds - well worth it.

Check out the Exped Megamat Duo or Hest Foamy if you want quality and comfort. They are a bit pricey but worth it if you camp often.

my wife and I car camp in a 4p (with a big chunky exped megamat duo, full size pillows, and assorted gear in there too), and would have plenty of room to add a little dog in there with us.
