Coolibar vs Brynje

i've had good luck with coolibar stuff when it goes on sale, and some of the generic brands with decent reviews work fine too.

I have a light zip up hoodie that I got from Coolibar and a bucket hat from Solbari. I prefer Under Armour tees with built in UV protection. I also have long sleeve light weight shirts from Columbia that are meant for fishing I think but they have UV protection in them too. Coolibar had a lot of options that look like normal clothes. I've been considering some leggings from them.

The brand Coolibar makes UPF clothing and they have hats with neck drapes. At least one of the models has a clip-on face shield feature.

coolibar and equatorsun both make UPF 50+ hats with neck coverage thats designed to sit away from your face. coolibar has those clip-on face shield attachments if you want full coverage

Maybe you could get some brynje here as baselayer / souveneir, you could order on fjellsport and ship it somehwere.

I have a Finetrack but I prefer a Brynje or an Alpha Direct as my first layer. They seem to evacuate sweat quicker than the Finetrack.

For someone that does both, no way Brynje is redundant with AD. Its different. AD holds more water and is warmer. Brynje is more flexible and easier to fine tune around for sweaters.

Brynje is nice, but I'd call it an "optional add-on". It doesn't really replace anything in my wardrobe, although it enhances other layers in cold weather.

Brynje on the skin, merino layer over that, and your other layers over. I work outside and have no issues staying warm with this system.
