Except that the prices are twice as high in Zurich.
I wouldn't bother with one night stays in Bern and Zurich when you are doing multi-night stays in places just 1 hour away from each. A day trip would be easier (not sure I would even bother with Zurich really).
Zürich has a nice enough old town and some good museums, but if you are headed in that direction it would make more sense to visit the Alps rather than the city (and you have the Alps next to you in Salzburg anyway).

Zurich is a perfectly nice city - I go there a lot for work, but again, Prague has a lot more to see as a tourist and they both have trams.

Anyway, Valencia > Paris and Brussels > Prague > Zurich each takes a whole day travel.
stay the night in zurich before your flight, zurich airport is easy but morning trains can get stressful if anything goes wrong. old town is walkable in an evening so you won't miss much

As for adding another city, I like Zurich because it’s small enough to explore in one day and you can pretty much walk everywhere. And it’s usually the major hub for flying in or out.
