Pros
- A while back I went through a bunch of instances of "버킷리스트" on YouGlish and it was pretty evenly split between 버킨나스트 and 버킬리스트.
- Youglish (hands down the best)
- Sounds flat to me on most examples of Youglish but I could be wrong.
- Youglish seems to agree with you.
- Check out YouGlish. It pulls real videos of people saying words in different accents. Not exactly phonetic transcription but hearing actual speakers beats IPA charts anyway. 🤷

I suggest that rather than thinking in terms of "do I pronounce か as 'kha' or 'ka'" ... that you listen to many examples of native pronunciation of か words via a site like Youglish or Forvo, and model your pronunciation (or guide your understanding) after that.
youglish pronunciation and hello talk
This is a crazy good tip and resource! Thank you!
Also, find it in everyday use using YouGlish so it sticks in your head.
Youglish is awesome if you want to hear a particular phrase said by native speakers. For example, I sometimes struggle with consonants clusters like managed to, so I look for that.
