Go. Indonesia is actually dry season June through August so you'd be visiting at the perfect time. Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta are all great then.

I’d recommend at least three days in Jogja. It’s a really nice town with a lot to do and see - Borobudur, Prambanan, the Royal Palace (Keraton), Jomblang Cave and more.
I love Jogja. It’s a very nice city with some of the world’s most incredible sights just outside of town.
Definitely go to Yogyakarta! The two main temples - Borobudur and Prambanan - are spectacular and there’s a lot of other fun and interesting sights, such as the Palace (Keraton or Kraton) where they often have traditional music performances (check the schedule).
Otherwise I can only talk about Yogyakarta and Malang, the latter of which I wouldn't really recommend outside of its day trip potential to places like Mt. Bromo.
In Yogyakarta the food is less interesting and didn find any really good work cafe. Although the Borobudur andd Prambanang temples are cool.

Based on your interests, I think you should go to Yogyakarta in Indonesia. From there, you can visit Borobudur & Prambanan temples. The area has great natural beauty, and Indonesian food is superior to Cambodian or Filipino cuisine, IMO.
Have you looked at Yogyakarta in East Java? It has a UNESCO temple, Indonesia also has lots of stunning volcano walks/jungle walks, you can do things like elephant or orangutan walks in Sumatra, Bali also has the biggest Buddha statue in the world?
