xDuoo XD05 Bal2

I wanted one of these so bad, but ended up finding a good deal on the XD05 Bal2, and I've been using that. Power is insane. I don't use anything super hard to drive, but I rarely have to go over 2/10 on the volume for it. I do wish I had the swappable DAC cards, which is why this one appealed to me.

Also it has a microphone, didn't realize that! Very neat to be able to take calls. It has decent noise rejection and microphone directionality.

One thing I really like is how protected the volume knob is. Setting the volume with the phone maxed there's no chance to blow your eardrums out.

You can use the Bluetooth button on the Bal2 to pause, play, skip track, go back track which is really nice though.

Finally, the battery to external power to charge switch is a great feature to try and save battery lifespan.

Nonetheless, the features of the Bal2 are great and it of course sounds great. I like the option of switching between two different op amps from what it comes with.
