Pros

  • These two are the best buy of my life despite them being extra budget!
  • I was recommended the older Wurkkos FC11 about 2 years ago. I am aiming it at my feet for pedestrian visibility, and I also use it for avoiding black bears. The battery size is a good balance between portability and runtime.
  • I currently have a wurkkos fc11 and a sofirn lantern which i both love.
  • Or the FC11 if you wanted something not as thick.
  • Durable enough, i’ve dropped my FC11 (same light, but an older model with a different driver), plenty of times and i’ve no issue with it.

Cons

  • Currently have the wurkos fc11 (from 2024) and I use it often but there's a couple things I don't love about it... I prefer a tail switch, which is one reason I don't love the fc11. It seems like I always have to find the switch by rolli...
  • I’ve been turned off of Samsung bc the LH351D in my fc11 was so green
  • I have that 2700k fc11, it's a Samsung emitter and kind of a sickly yellow. I don't really like it But I guess your mileage will vary. I don't know how it stacks up with the likes of day a 519a 2700k. Note that unlike the FC11C, the FC11...

  • I bought an FC11 recently and I like everything about it, except the switch placement. ... the FC11 has its charging port on the opposite side of the switch and lots of body detail, so feeling out where the switch is is annoying.

Currently have the wurkos fc11 (from 2024) and I use it often but there's a couple things I don't love about it... I prefer a tail switch, which is one reason I don't love the fc11. It seems like I always have to find the switch by rolling it in my fingers and I usually end up trying to turn on the charging port instead of the on off switch.

In real world use, the biggest difference you'll notice from the FC11 versus the new FC11C is that the FC11C maintains a constant level of brightness if you set it on any other modes except Turbo. All the while it runs much cooler than the older FC11.

I have lots of micros with my most powerful units being a Wurkkos FC11. I find I would like something that can light up something a little further away than the FC11 can.
