Pros
- Root is a phenomenal asymmetric game... Same with most of my other favorite heavily asymmetric games: - Wonderland's War
- Parent context: Wow its like Quacks? Never heard that before and that's one of my and my wife's favorite games! How much more complex is it to play? Reply: They're both bag builders, only WW is also area control and more confrontational....
- Exceptional game ! Sometimes unfortunately hard to get the players for it, but always a blast to play
- I love this game, the amount of replayability it has is insane since you can randomize the mechanics on top of playing different classes each game. Definitely one of my top favorite games and best games in my opinion, I’d say probably to...
- Great game, I have Quacks as well and if people like it I tell them this is the advanced version of it.
Cons
- Agreed Even with the reduced number of battle zones its not really as good with two players
- I enjoyed my play of it and would have bought it instantly but the price is unforgiveable. I don't need upgraded bits but for $150, the same price as Twilight Imperium, it's infuriating that they charge an additional $60 for the poker ch...
- I feel you need at least three players for the full experience. Two players doesn't allow it to truly shine.
- I haven't played Wonderland's War, but the complaint I hear from friends who love it is that it runs a little long. That can suck the fun out of a game night
- Wonderland's War is great fun but FAR too long.

Reply: They're both bag builders, only WW is also area control and more confrontational. Also has beautiful components. If you want Quacks with more strategy/planning then I suggest you look into this. It's expensive though, especially with the poker chips but I highly recommend it. Feels awesome.
