Pros

• Wix, Squarespace, and other like tools would be a 10X better choice for someone trying to DIY a website.
• Wix and Squarespace are completely fine for small business when you don't have specific requirements.
• I tend to cross index to Wix brand and order those by part number from the cheapest vendor, such as Rock Auto in the US or Amazon.
• You could try calling the Wix tech line, they have been very helpful to me in the past.
• for a simple service business site i'd recommend either [wordpress.com](http://wordpress.com) (free tier), wix, or carrd.

Cons

• They'd likely be willing to pay for a domain name but Wix and Squarespace are too expensive for them.
• you could work there 6 months, then jump to someone giving services to Wix, Amazon, or other businesses that have multilingual platforms.
• I tried Wix and Squarespace and honestly they work, but I kept feeling boxed in once I started tweaking booking flows and payments.
• I’ve looked at Wix and Squarespace, but I keep wondering if there’s a solid free website builder or free website creation option that actually works for service businesses.
• When I was working with Wix, it didn’t feel like I was doing any real programming / language work, mostly drag and drop + html work, so it didn’t feel too engaging.
