Winix Zero S

Pros

• I have winix zero s. Sleep mode is very quiet
• I was pleasantly surprised. I mostly use the app to switch between high and turbo. The app is very basic.
• Money is an important aspect too, which is why I'm leaning towards Winix Zero S, since the filters are so cheap. If I need at least 2 filters per year and buy 3rd party, Winix Zero S is overall cheapest. ... Winix Zero S is slightly easi...
• Winix Zero S basically has higher electricity costs, but very cheap and accessible 3rd party filters priced from 21eur and upwards with tons of carbon
• He also suggests the Luggable XL-7 and Winix Zero S as possible alternatives to look at.

Cons

• + cheapest to buy + can be placed closer to the wall + removable pre-filter + carbon filter before HEPA filter + washable carbon filter - has ioziner you can disable with button or app - 5% higher energy consumption than Mighty2 -...
• Do note that Winix Zero S is louder at max speed and less effective at 2nd highest speed (-45dB). I like it, but want one to replace the 900 in my bedroom to run at -45dB speed.
• Parent context: you can’t even tell sleep mode is on. Reply: Neither can your air quality. 😉 Unfortunately sleep mode cleans so little air that it's not really worth it IMO.
