Pros
- It’s the best thing I’ve tried too. My buddy won one, and we tried it against P15 and old rip. WLW was everyone’s favorite. WLW would be the first pick for me at almost any raffle. There would have to be something insane for me to take s...
- I had a pour of this at a local joint. This is a 10/10 for me. Best thing I've ever had without a doubt.
- Had this and loved it. Perfect bourbon.
- I have had a chance to try the WLW and it was phenomenal but as I lean more into Rye's, I'd rather spend the coin elsewhere and get multiple bottles for the price of an WLW
- Outstanding bourbon - just about the best we've ever tried. The strength is so well integrated, the flavors have many layers, and there's a nice mix of punchiness and subtlety.
Cons
- 23 and 24 were… awful, for what the product used to be like.
- Value-wise, this is great at the suggested retail price from the distillery; unfortunately, the vast majority of us aren't likely to ever see it for that price. At secondary pricing, which seems to be close to $1,000 based on auction res...

Value-wise, this is great at the suggested retail price from the distillery; unfortunately, the vast majority of us aren't likely to ever see it for that price. At secondary pricing, which seems to be close to $1,000 based on auction results, value is not very good, despite this being an incredible bourbon.

I am fortunate enough to own one of these. I got it many years ago when I was a scotch (not bourbon) drinker. Only realized what I had about 6 years ago and it is the bourbon I measure all others against.
I also loved this one. Clearly the best BTAC in 2023 (GTS is second).
It’s a top of the line aged wheater for me, with a wonderful array of oak tannins, toffee, and tobacco with a backdrop of cinnamon and dark cherries. It gushes with flavor, but despite being 133 proof, is an easy sipper. Once again, WLW shows why it’s consistently one of the best bottles each year.
