Wildfrost

Pros

• I really like Wildfrost, probably more the Spire, mostly due to it being fairly easy to play a run in about a half hour or less, but it can be very punishing. But it's also very easy to just cheese a run with snow-spam.
• yeah wildfrost is probably one of the sweatier roguelike deckbuilders out there. ... learning it's system mechanics and optimizing gameplay was *so fun* as a competitive gamer.
• Cute fun roguelite game, love the aesthetics, cute artstyle and nice music too.
• The best thing about this game is that if you're 1 gold short of something in the shop, if you spam click it enough the shopkeep will give you the discount.
• Dicefolk and Wildfrost both are roguelites that focus on recruiting creatures (and people) on your run to fight for you, which creates a bunch of synergies like Monster Sanctuary or Cassette Beasts.

Cons

• but my god is that game hard and it probably could do with some difficulty tweaking lmao.
• It's a cute game. Which is kind of a fault tbh because it's much harder than it "looks". ... I had some fun with it and I don't mind hard roguelike deck builders but this one just didn't stick with me past a few climbs of ascension level...

• The cards are interesting, lots of deep interactions, tons of variety and different ways to tinker with your cards and builds. Runs are relatively short which allows you to iterate and try new things quickly. I really loved the art. ......
