Pros

  • 7.0-7.9 Very Good (Wild Turkey Master's Keep Triumph, Sagamore 9yr rye, Jack Daniel's SBBP)
  • I liked [Triumph](https://www.reddit.com/r/bourbon/comments/1einej9/review_wild_turkey_masters_keep_triumph_2024_with/) more than most and I’ll die on that hill
  • We opened that bottle with just over five minutes left in the game. Best $300 I ever spent!
  • 4 of us finished off a bottle of this last night with cigars. It was very, very good.
  • Quintessential Kentucky style rye. It is complex, layered, and extremely well balanced between sweet caramels, spice, soft fresh mint, fruit flavors, and oak. No one aspect overpowers another. The packaging on these is also fantastic; th...

Cons

  • Total Wine in Washington state has it collecting dust at most locations. Of course, it’s because their all-in price is an eye-watering $400.
  • Saw one yesterday for $399 near me. I'm a turkey fanatic and I still passed at that price
  • All in, I find it to be a similar experience to Michter’s 10 Rye. In the medium proof range of Kentucky style/barely legal rye, this would be tough to beat. ... Now the elephant in the room: the gut wrenching price tag. ... For a similar...
  • I really wish Triumph was bottled in a regular Russell’s Reserve bottle and retailed for under 100 bucks, instead of the ornate Master’s Keep package and all the extra expense that comes with it. That 275-dollar MSRP is too high, and the...

Quintessential Kentucky style rye. It is complex, layered, and extremely well balanced between sweet caramels, spice, soft fresh mint, fruit flavors, and oak. No one aspect overpowers another. The packaging on these is also fantastic; the masters keep bottles are beautiful and I’m always a sucker for a good box.
