Cons

• I didn’t hate it or think the prose was that bad but illogical information withholding/secrets as a plot device had me screaming in frustration at points.
• I hated it so much I couldn’t finish it despite being 3/4 of the way through
• It was legitimately one of the worst books I’ve read this year. Bottom 3 out of 60.
• This one didn’t work for me. It felt like several characters got hit by the stupid stick to make bad choices only to drive the plot forward. They didn’t feel like real people. And the prose tried very hard to make something profound out...
• Agreed, I wouldn’t have even finished it but a family member recommended it to me and said the ending was good. Wish I had that time back.
