Pros
- I have wealthfront and no issues
- I also have about 30k in an employee Roth 401k account within the same plan. I'm ineligible to contribute to a traditional IRA because of my income level so I started doing the Roth IRA backdoor through Wealthfront this year.
- HYSA | ~$68.5K | Wealthfront, 4.0% APY. Emergency/house fund
- Wealthfront is fine but honestly with that much money you might want to talk to a fee-only financial advisor first.
- We heard about robo advisor in Wealthfront and since we don’t know anything about stock market we should invest there for the long term.
Cons
- Regarding their investing accounts, their web site is somewhat heavy on the message that you just need to trust them to handle everything. I'm not saying that are necessarily untrustworthy, just that that is how people get taken advantag...
- I put $45k into an individual automated bond ladder with wealthfront, and the other $5k into their HSYA.
- Wealthfront is a brokerage, not a bank. Check reviews and these listings

I use Wealthfront. Their money transfer is quick. I can Pull money into Wealthfront from another bank and have the transaction reflected on both sides same day with no same day fee! Same with pushing money out of Wealthfront into another bank.
You can put majority of that money in HYSA like wealthfront, currently paying 4%.
I have been using Wealthfront for years and have 0 complaints.
