Waymo

Pros

• I’ve enjoyed watching e-Jags being the primary Waymo driverless vehicle in San Francisco. They are terrific if a little uglified by sensors.
• You may also want to look at downloading the Waymo app; it's Uber except with driverless cars, which my visiting friends seem to get a huge kick out of.
• I own a tesla myp. Waymo is better. BIG HUGE ASS LIDAR AND CAMERAS vs cameras the size the tip of your thumb.
• We take Waymos 3-4 times a month in LA and despite the occasional hiccup it's been so good and uneventful the novelty has worn off.
• you'd think WayMo (88% safer than humans, BTW and getting better) would have finally made Tesla fans realize things.

Cons

• The real gap is between Waymo and the Level 2 systems
• Parent context: Parents of girls will probably prefer waymo and parents of boys will probably prefer Uber Reply: I wouldn't put my daughter in a Waymo. They can be blocked/stopped with a traffic cone, even a person walking in front of it...
• Even now as an adult I still don’t trust Ubers and I’ve seen Waymo cars do stuff that would get someone normally pulled over (one actually did get pulled over) or even put someone’s life in danger or take a life. There’s no way in hell I...
• And no it doesn’t have to be perfect. Waymo isn’t perfect either.
