Do the wall as early as possible, it gets crowded and hot throughout the day. It's worth it, even if you don't do the entire thing.
We loved walking on the wall BUT we went immediately at opening time. When we finished we saw that the wall at the starting point and onwards looked like a line of people shuffling very slowly. It looked like an absolute nightmare. Wouldn’t do it if you can’t be there early.
