Vivo X300
Reddit take
AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote
The Vivo X300 is generally well-received as a high-performance flagship, particularly praised for its camera capabilities and hardware specifications. While it is frequently recommended for its compact size relative to other flagships, opinions on its software are mixed, with some users finding the interface plain or lacking compared to the hardware's quality.
Pros
- Highly regarded camera performance
- Strong hardware specs including USB 3.2 and UFS 4
- Large battery capacity (6040mAh) for its size
- Aesthetic design and build quality
Cons
- Software/UI can feel 'sanitized' or overly plain to some users
- Limited regional availability; requires importing in markets like the US
Caveats
- Perceptions of size are subjective; while marketed as a smaller flagship, it still features a screen over 6 inches which some 'small phone' enthusiasts find too large.
- Software is noted as a weak point compared to the premium hardware.
Best for
- Mobile photography enthusiasts
- Users looking for high-end specs in a relatively compact flagship form factor
Avoid if
- You prefer a feature-rich or highly customizable software experience
- You want a device with official local warranty and support in the US

Parent context: The Vivo X300 is beautiful and love everything about it, but all these 4 companies' flagships are over 6 inches in screen size it seems. Personally not a fan of the larger and larger phone market trend. Also check vivo x300, I think it's better than regular iPhone 17.
if your country isn't USA you got vivoo x300 Xiaomi 17 Ultra and oppo find x9 ultra all these have professional level cameras
vivo x300 which possess one of the best phone cameras in the market.
And a vivo x300 sure as hell can take better pics than iphone or samsang.
vivo x300 is a good one but if u want longevity then just get a samsung ( x300 destroys the base s25/26 in cameras)
My nephews skin looked horrible on the x300
Vivo is a no brainer. You get flagship camera and battery level in compact size
Vivo: it seems to have the best camera hardware, ultrawide is definitely better than x17, telephoto seems a bit better with longer reach... Im not sure about image post processing, ive seen some complaints about too heavy ai processing looking artificial. Also some people seem to have problems with overheating even without doing anything demanding.
other wise u an get vivo x300 for 75k ish (lower when offers are added) . its a beast of a fone.
