Pros

  • I would go to Death Valley and hit Valley of Fire.
  • Camping there was incredible. We had our own cool little red rock canyon to explore behind our site, and waking up at 5 and hiking out into the wash to watch the sunrise over all the unique features was one of the most glorious things I’...
  • When I think Nevada I think Vegas but was completely blown away with Valley of Fire. Just so many extreme rock formations. Truly stunning. Popped out for a day hike and could’ve spent a couple days there. Highly recommend
  • I was there at the beginning of the year. It's incredible!
  • Beautiful 😍 a place out of this world

Cons

  • Parent context: While it is amazing, it's also amazingly crowded. Reply: Must’ve lucked out we ran into a few people But wasn’t too bad. Definitely was starting to fill up by the time we left
  • It’s a great place though easy to go off trail and end up sliding down a rock and almost breaking your ankle.

This park was so amazing to take little kids to. So many holes in the rocks they could spend hours in just your campsite exploring.
