- I remember really liking this game until I smashed into a level (I think a train may have been involved) that changed the mechanics so much that I bounced.
- the game designers clearly have one best way to do each level in mind, and it is the job of the player to divine this one best way and do it. Some levels can *only* be completed in that one way. That's a puzzle game to me. Bleh.
- I really didn't like the reward system where you have to rush the map to get a good score. It's the opposite of what I would expect in a tactical game.

The tactical combat is great and though there is an exploit where you can just throw the scouts forward to take over the couple of enemy bases since they move the most far of each unit, it doesn't mean the rest of it is poor. ...
