Pros

  • You could look into the US Virgin Islands- beautiful areas to snorkel and calm waters. You deserve some nice weather.
  • staying on St Thomas and renting a car and beach hopping (with a day or 2 on St. John) is an amazing time. Obviously no passport needed, really beautiful islands and beaches.
  • There are many different beaches like this all over the Caribbean, but the US Virgin Islands in particular have some beaches that have been ranked as some of the best in the world.
  • Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are good options if you don't have a passport.
  • Things we loved about the USVI: Landscape - very green and jungle vibes so there was always beauty to see. Wildlife - USVI was crawling with fun creatures to view from a distance. Beaches - Our only plans really are beaching. So looking...

Things we loved about the USVI: Landscape - very green and jungle vibes so there was always beauty to see. Wildlife - USVI was crawling with fun creatures to view from a distance. Beaches - Our only plans really are beaching. So looking for clear waters to see marine life - Aruba is so windy the sand is always moving so a lot of the water was cloudy so we couldn’t see the fish around us where as the USVI was crystal clear and we saw HUNDREDS of fish even up at shore. Food!!! Arubas cuisine was very lack luster :( we enjoy trying new dishes and love diversity - USVI had some incredible dishes that we still think about today.
