Ultegra without question. 50 euro is nothing. you get servo-wave braking, a faster front derailleur, buttons on the tops of the hoods & hyperglide+.

Not to also mention the lever position adjustment possibile Ultegra to bring them closer to the handlebars for braking if you have mallet hands (and the adjustment of ‘play’ in the actuation of the brakes to help with modulation)

For 50 eur I would take the Ultegra version. The price difference is usually a lot more. For me, the biggest selling point of Ultegra vs 105 is not the 200 grams, but the extra buttons on top of the shifters that can be programmed for various things.

Currently, I’m using a 52/36 chainring setup with an 11-34 cassette (full Ultegra Di2).

I was told exactly this so many times and I couldn't believe it until I bought a bike with an Ultegra Di2, and I'd never buy another one with mechanical shifting.

While I think that a well cared for mechanical setup shifts 95% as "good" as an electronic one I just don't have to readjust my Ultegra Di2 like ever. It just works without degrading over time without readjusting.

Parent context: disagree, I have it on 2 of my bikes, and the other has 105 r7000. For road, the electronic shifting on the rear end is nice but I can shift the front ring faster than ultegra di2 can.
