Pros
- Overall, I have no regrets bringing this bag with me. It's light, fit all of my essential needs, and I never got checked for weight when I had to check in (exception for Jetstar in Singapore > Okinawa).
- I love my ULA Dragonfly 30 for work travel. It easily fits my 16 inch Mac and is more than large enough for longer trips.
- The ULA Dragonfly 30 is the best bag I've ever used. It is super comfy, light, well made, easily fits everything I need with room to spare, just enough organization while still being fairly minimal, fits under all the plane seats I've tr...
- I’ve got a ULA dragonfly 30 I’m taking on an urban travel trip for the first time. It was good for hiking now let’s check it for travel.
- How about an ULA Dragonfly 30L? That should have at least a pound.
Cons
- I was very well pushing the limits of my bag. About a month in, the bag was stuffed but still able to close. Any excess items went into my packable tote or my small sling bag. Personally, a 35L version would have been perfect for me so I...

- instead of a dedicated personal item that can hike as well (like the ULA dragonfly 30l or Bellroy Venture Pack 26l).
- One other option I’ve considered is the ULA dragonfly 30 but tbh it’s my least favorite in terms of looks.

The day I received my Dragonfly I loaded it up to 7 kg and took it on a 4 mile hike to test it out. I found it to be one of the most comfortable packs I have owned.
I use the ULA Dragonfly 30 also. It has 25L internal capacity which is more than enough for international trips. I pack a small packable bag to contain everything that isn’t going on the day hike. The computer sleeve will hold a bladder.
