Ubud 4 nights is good because there’s a lot to explore around there, and Uluwatu 4 nights is perfect for beach clubs, cliffs, and chill time at the end of the trip.
I vote for Ubud and Canuggu. I went there myself for a solo travel last year and I absolutely loved it. It's peaceful and social at the same time. I also had work on some days so these destinations were perfect for my getaway.
If you're going to work and need a calm yet picturesque view, Ubud or other lesser crowded gems in Bali is to live for!

I stayed in Ubud in 2014 and loved it. I went back in 2024 and hated it. Same beautiful place but now horribly overrun with tourists and constant bumper-to-bumper traffic. It was sad to experience, especially as I'd returned to scout it out as a possible retirement location. I won't go back again.
