Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro Max

Pros
- I have had the U7 pm for about 6 months at it’s been flawless for me.
- I upgraded an old UAC AP Pro to a U7 Pro Max about 6 months ago... Everything about that upgrade went great! Speed and reliability improved or stayed the same. I noticed no issues since then.
- I'm using a U7 Pro Max with my UCG Fiber. I can cover my whole home 5000 sqft with the U7 PM on my top floor. U7 Pro didn't come close to cutting it for wall penetration.
- Had mine installed for about 4 days and I'm consistently hitting 1.2-1.3gbs in multiple spots. U7 Pro Max. 1 on each floor 3000sqft
- Wi-Fi speeds hitting over 1.2 gigs in multiple spots in my house vs maxing out at 600mbs. 2gig fiber UDM Pro USW Pro HD 24 PoE 2x U7 Pro Max
Cons
- a U7 Lite next room will give you better speeds than a U7 Pro Max 6 walls away.
- As I was trying to enable AFC, controlled through the 6ghz Extended Range check box, I’ve discovered my U7 Pro Max doesn’t support that.
- If you want a more direct product replacement to the U6 Pro that would be the U7 Pro Max or the U7 Pro XGS but unless you want or need the "dedicated spectral scanning engine for interference-free WiFi in demanding, large-scale environme...
- I would have needed the U7 Pro Max at $280 each. One Asus router in access point mode covers my whole house for $450. Not worth going the Ubiquiti route for me.
- I would actually be quite unhappy if I got a U7 Pro max. That one has a fan and that would be a deal breaker for me.

Well I’m getting pretty close to what you were hoping for ~753mbps download and ~878mbps upload between Unifi Cloud Fiber and U7Pro-Max.
So I‘m using the u7 pro max and habe fibre to the home (1gbit). It‘s able to provide the full 1gbit in the same room (max distance 10m)
If you want a more direct product replacement to the U6 Pro that would be the U7 Pro Max or the U7 Pro XGS but unless you want or need the "dedicated spectral scanning engine for interference-free WiFi in demanding, large-scale environments." it's not worth the upgrade for home use.
