Now the 16 Pro Max Poe is an odd choice all around for sure. Perfect for most general residential networks and the choice to either rack mount or wall/desk mount gives it more flexibility…however there are some caveats as you’ve pointed out. I don’t like that you have to buy the rack mount adapter separately, there’s only four total 2.5g PoE ports and only those ports are PoE++ and lastly only 180w total PoE budget.
