You can consider the Truthear Hexa for neutral sound on a budget.
Parent context: How much of a performance boost do you think the hexa would be compared to the SZN10. I wouldnt want to spend 2x as much to get a 10% boost in clarity Reply: Hexa has much less bass but far better clarity, Details, timbre, soundstage, etc. If you really want some thump, Hexa won’t deliver it unless you EQ. It does have quality sounding low end, just not much compared to [Zs10] ProX.
I'd get the hexa. I don't think you really need power to drive them
The Pure are available where I live, but I was under the impression that the Hexa were more neutral/balanced, therefore they fit my needs a bit better.
If you wanted to go the IEM route, my two recommendations are the Letshuoer S12 Pro, and the Truthear Hexa.
Go get the JDS Labs Atom Amp+ at $99 and use the other $70 to get a pair of IEMs like the Truthear HEXA or Simgot EA500.
If you are willing to use an IEM for ~$75 you will get much better sound with either the Truthear Hexa
The Truthear Hexa or Truthear Pure are great and come under your budget.
I would totally recommend Crinacle's Project Red, or the Truthear Hexa.
I was kind of dissapointed by the Hexa since I was used to the wider soundstage of my other gear.
