I ride about 5,000 miles/year, almost all road but some gravel (on a Trek Checkpoint).
I’ve switched exclusively to slack angled long wheel base mile eaters. The Bianchi Infinito CV, the Trek Checkpoint and Specalized diverge.
So, i got ambitious with my new bike, a Trek Checkpoint, and cycled across the city.

Maybe go to a Trek store in the Philly area and try out the checkpoint and domane.
The Checkpoint felt sluggish and numb. Handling was shit. I’m sure it’s great for bike packing but I hated riding it.
