Pros
- where i'm from (eastern Spain) we have an area called Costa Brava, there's plenty of beautiful towns (Tossa de Mar being an example) and secluded beaches.
- I love Tossa I highly recommend it. There's a castle right by the sea, it looks straight out of a fairytale.
- Tossa was a very cool little town but the beach is deceptive. The sand is very coarse and will hurt your feet so bring swim shoes and a blanket to lay on.
- Went to Tossa de Mar afterwards before driving back to Barcelona, which was also amazing. Highly recommend doing both together.
- Tosa está bien, pero como calas con aguas turquesa las que te recomendé.
Cons
- I went to Tossa De Mar in Spain, a quiet little town. I really liked it however I wasn’t expecting it to be overrun by old people (sorry!).
- Don’t bother with Tossa and Nerja, nice enough but nothing special, use the days to explore more of the larger locations.
- Tossa is super touristy, if you want to avoid tourists I would consider nearby llafranc instead.
- Tossa is very cute, but I wouldnt recommend it especially for a day trip as youre going to spend at least a couple of hours or three getting there and back
- Itinerary wise, why Tossa? Its great but its the hell out of the way

We spent a few hours in the Tossa de Mar area a few weeks ago and thought it would be a good place to spend a few days. Lots of shops and places to eat, and some historical sites as well. The beach area is beautiful
