Torso T-1

Pros

• I’d go with the sonic ware ambient/evoke and maybe something like the torso t-1 which I think is better for ambient than the oxi because it has better random algorithms IMO.
• I love my T-1 so much :,) I use it a lot with my Digitone and Syntakt... It’s great for drums, it can be great for melodic stuff - it’s amazing for arps on Digitone
• the Torso T-1 intrigues me with its minimal, generative approach.
• My live setup is the syntakt with the Faderfox PC12 to get the most out of it, sequenced by the torso T-1.
• I am the happy owner of a Digitakt (samples), Torso T-1 (sequencing) and Faderfox PC12 (knobs; CC information on Digitakt). It works great

Cons

• My intention was to pair the Polyend with the Torso T-1, so maybe i could actually swap the Polyend with the Torso S-4.
• The T1 is really wild and a bit hard to wrap your head around it at first, and the knob labels are absolutely unreadable in low light, but I would say I had more fun with it than the oxi because you can just twiddle knobs and come up wit...
• Unfortunately after about a year and a half, it started having issues with its memory or CPU, losing its ability to save.
• The Torso UI is somewhat idiosyncratic. You will either love it or not get along with it at all. It’s very well made.
