What about just staying on the Chilean side and doing Patagonia, Torres del Paine? Also have the best time in Atacama and Easter Island! They both are incredible places to visit!

Day 1 Bus tour of the main highlights This was the easy day — a full-day bus tour hitting the park's iconic viewpoints. It's a great way to get oriented before committing to more demanding hikes.
However, certain places are too far. Like San Pedro de Atacama or Torres del Paine. So if you want to hit those, plan ahead.
Anyway, four days in TdP would be well spent. I did one night in PN and three in the park and could’ve stayed longer.
It’s a bucket list destination IMO and you can catch a bus from El Calafate to Puerto Natales or maybe even directly to the park. You might as well head that way...

TDP is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, as long as the weather cooperates. I have visited in winter and spring, and had a phenomenal time staying at Explora Salto Chico. Expensive? Yes! But well worth it!
I am thinking about going to Patagonia next month as I am missing mountains and hiking! I’ve been looking into Torres del Paine and while it seems beautiful, I am finding it hard to justify spending nearly $1000 (CAD) for this experience.
