Tirana is the only real big city in Albania, and it holds so much culture and so many experiences. It's also connected to everything.
Brother, it´s cheap for you, because you won a lottery ticket of life to be born in country that is richer (more importantly that more expensive).
Tirana is actually a really great, very cosmopolitan city. Not as filled with history or nature- more cafes, restaurants, nice parks, etc... but I really like it.

I would suggest you maybe begin in Tirana and then make your way up to Podgorica by bus
Five days is probably too much time in Tirana, even with a day trip. It takes a lot longer to drive along the coast than you'll anticipate. The roads aren't in great condition in some places, and there are a lot of obstacles like cattle and dogs on the roads.
I'll probably do Tirane, Berat and Vlore and im already looking forward to exploring!

Sarajevo has a very distinct vibe and character, but Tirana has better day trips.
Been to both, love Albania generally but imo Sarajevo is better than Tirana for a city break.
