- The 078S was a pain in the ass to season. It took around 10 pounds of coffee before I got any consistency. Now, the coffee it makes is great and the consistency is there. The biggest issue with the 078S now is trying to take it apart.

I upgraded to Timemore 078s which solved that problem.
I didn't have to season my 078s at all to get consistent cups out of it. I did have issues with popcorning, beans sticking, etc in the hopper, so I purchased a 3d printed one and it's been fantastic since. Taking it apart was impossible for me since I couldn't actually remove the outer burr holder.
I own the 078s work both for espresso and pour over! Had to 3D print few mods like hopper for antipopcorn and grind indicator. It was an upgrade from a Gemilai grinder so it was a pretty huge jump for me and now I see why a good grinder is important haha.
