Pros
- This is How You Lose the Time War is a good sci-fi fantasy, but it's sapphic
- Aside from that here are some personal favorites that are within the general literary fiction genre: - "This is How You Lose the Time War" by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar (scifi)
- This Is How You Lose The Time War (sapphic/lesbian)
- I usually like my romances to take time, and grow out of coming to know and like the other person for their personality, before (if) it turns physical. It's why my favourite SFF romance is probably This is How You Lose the Time War.
- you may otherwise really enjoy This is How You Lose the Time War. It's short, employs lovely poetic language, and otherwise fits the bill.
Cons
- This is how you lose the time war. Warning, it starts out a little repetitive.
- If you want like a super condensed version of that experience, you mighty try This is How You Lose the Time War. It's not as good, but it is a super short, easy read, and will scratch a similar itch.

And 'This is how you lose the time war' is a scifi time travel lesbian romance novella. ... They both have interesting prose and cool worldbuilding and queer main characters.

This one is a slightly more complicated suggestion because there is plenty of moments that are not purely happy and light. But I think it overall is a beautiful story of love and connection, and it has a happy ending. I’ve read it multiple times now and it always makes me feel like hope and love aren’t lost, despite the odds.
This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. It has some beautiful writing!
This Is How You Lose the Time War is one of the most lyrically gorgeous books I've ever read ❤️
