Huh, I have a Thermarest and it has a very slow leak. Not so bad that it is unusable, but substantially softer in the morning than when I inflated it. I took it into the bathtub and could not find a definitive leak, although it seemed that either the valve was leaking or else little bits of air were just trapped in the valve area.
Reliable brands for sleeping mats are Sea to Summit, Megamat, Thermarest, Big Agnes, Nemo, Exped and RAB. If it isn't from one of these firms, don't buy it.
I have a compact thermarest that I use.
Mine is only three years old, but they warranty for life. I let their warranty folks know I didn’t have proof of purchase because I bought it out of town right before a hike. They said no problem, asked for some pics of the old one with the logo crossed out and the RMA number written next to it, and shipped me a brand new mat. It arrived this week. They definitely earned a lifelong customer on that one.

After emailing them, I discussed with them to get credit for an upgrade to a fully inflatable pad. So you can replace or upgrade, definitely worth contacting them to find out.
Bought a Thermarest and genuinely could not believe I'd been suffering for no reason.
