The X-Files

Pros

• If you're looking for a show to watch in the dark, I recommend *The X-Files*. It has 218 episodes, so 1/day will keep you going for a good while. Very night-time feel.
• X-Files, then Fringe, then Castle, a distant last place for Bones and The Mentalist.
• To be fair X files was monster of the week show done in the era of network TV.
• Series I have loved: X-Files
• is created by the guy who did The XFiles.

Cons

• Supernatural is more consistent (in early seasons), the highs and lows of The X-Files are bigger. I personally like The X-Files more, but won't judge if you use episode ratings to avoid the terrible ones.
• And now i will start watching The X-Files
• Stranger Things would not have existed without coming of age works like Stand by Me and The Goonies and scifi works like ET, Encounters of the 3rd kind and The X-files is it a derivative of any of them?
• We already know what modern X-Files looks like. 6 and 10 episode seasons, 2 years apart, half motw and the other half were the myth arc. It sucked. More so season 11 than the Revival.
• If you enjoy Supernatural, you will enjoy The X-Files
